  I never played the original Splatoon . I always wanted to, but I just never had a chance to try it out. I've seen people play it on YouTube quite a lot (the competitive nature of the game has always provided a fun streaming environment), so I'm familiar with what the game was like. However, you never really know what a game is going to actually end up being like until you get a chance to play it for yourself. Because of that, I was ecstatic to get a chance to play the Global Testfire when it started. I downloaded the beta almost a week in advance, and I eagerly awaited the moment I got to press the triggers and begin my first foray into Inkopolis.  About five minutes before it was scheduled to, the testfire began. I pressed the button as soon as I heard, and immediately I was in. I've heard that some people had some really bad server issues, but I personally ran into very few. After I was lucky enough to have the server gods smile down on me, it was time to paint.

  Fast RMX is a remaster (or a remix) of Fast Racing Neo , a Wii U eShop title. Developed by Shin'en Multimedia, it is the third game in the Nintendo exclusive Fast  series that started all the way on WiiWare. The Fast  series is somewhat of a spiritual successor to F-Zero , a Nintendo franchise that has been long forgotten by Nintendo itself. If Nintendo won't develop any more games in the series, at least Shin'en is trying...but have their efforts ended up being worth it? Let's dig in. Graphics   Fast RMX  looks phenomenal, especially considering the hardware it's on. Breath of the Wild  is a beautiful game, but it doesn't look real. Fast RMX  does. It's crazy to me that we live in a world where $20 games on portable Nintendo hardware look this good. This game is truly breathtaking.  In some of the levels, there are weather effects.  Nintendo has always been innovative. They always try to do something new and creative. It doesn't always work, as the Wii U showed us, but they always try. No matter how you feel about Nintendo in recent years, you have to admit that they always try to do something unique. The Switch is no different.  The Nintendo Switch signals a new era of Nintendo. We all know that. However, at its core, it is still very much a Nintendo console, in the best and the worst ways. It comes with all the charm you'd expect. It has a lot of the barriers that are a Nintendo signature at this point. I'm speaking in very vague terms, but there is a lot to say about the Switch. Let's just dig into it.  The specs on the Switch are honestly nothing that impressive. However, as they always have, Nintendo makes the most of them.
